Hypocrisy

Rereading some of my posts I stumbled on something that I want to amend. In the post 'WikiLeaks' I wrote:
Even if they take out Julian Assange with a bullet or drone strike or that bullshit rape allegation I want to make sure that as many people as possible can access this information.

Emphasis added after-the-fact to the part I feel guilty about. It was completely hypocritical of me to simply dismiss those charges. I think that Michael Moore explained a much more sensible stance to take when he defended his decision to post Julian Assange's bail on the Rachel Maddow Show. Basically; while Assange deserves a chance to defend himself those charges still have to be taken very seriously.

North Korean House Trance!

The glorious leader commands you to check out this post on the official DPRK (North Korean) news-site.

He set forth the important tasks to serve as guidelines for arts creation.

I wonder what Kim Jong Il would say about Pr0metheus Burning.

Wolf in Wolf's Clothing: Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes

What were they expecting to happen? Putting Ricky Gervais in front of the Hollywood elite and handing him a microphone is almost as stupid as letting Colbert give a speech in front of Dubya.

For once I'm happy about morons being in charge! Long live Ricky Gervais!

Life = Good

Yeah; so while rereading what I've posted so far I noticed that my rants can be a bit... bleak.

That's only because happy stuff is boring ;)

Can't Sleep :'(

I probably can't sleep because of how much Demon's Souls I played today. Caffeine *may* have something to do with it too.

I was channel flipping and ended up watching whatever was on the cable news channels for a while; now I'm stuck wondering, "Why the fuck hasn't anyone done anything to help out the people of Haiti?"

Fuck this; for now I'm just going to play more Demon's Souls and pretend that I didn't read these reports.
